  • President

    Ethan M., holds a bachelor’s degree in religion and psychology from UNC Pembroke. His professional journey spans a decade in sales, with a significant period from 2014 to 2021 at a car dealership, followed by a role as General Operations Manager at a dispensary. An athlete since age 5.

    Ethan's diverse sports background ranges from dirt biking to team sports like basketball and football, as well as individual sports like tennis, shot put, and javelin throwing. He graduated from UNC Pembroke with honors and has a history of collegiate javelin throwing. Despite facing challenges that required him to transfer among four universities, Ethan has turned his hardships into a driving force to help others, solidifying his role as an empathetic and effective leader.

    As the President, Ethan is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the foundation. He manages budgeting, financial reporting, and orchestrates the implementation of the organization's strategic plans.

    Contribution to Mission:

    Ethan's experiences as a student-athlete lend him a unique ability to understand and address the myriad challenges these young individuals often face. His empathetic leadership and strategic guidance are instrumental in achieving the foundation's mission to support young athletes.

  • Vice President

    Our Vice President, Roman is the dynamic face of our organization, embodying the principles and morals that form its foundation. Roman is responsible for representing the organization at various events and meetings, liaising with international and local partners, and inspiring both staff and athletes. His unique blend of charisma and experience in the world of athletics makes him an essential asset for community engagement and fundraising.

    Roman, holds a degree in Communication from UNC Chapel Hill, where he was also a premier Javelin thrower with a full scholarship.

    Roman is not just an athlete but a prodigy in the sport of Javelin, having thrown since he was 8 years old and competed globally. Currently, he is focused on securing a gold medal at the 2024 Olympic games.

    Growing up, Roman was a multi-talented individual who excelled in various disciplines. He played the piano, was a star quarterback in high school, and eventually channeled his skills into javelin throwing. Known as a peacemaker, his charisma has the power to unite people and create a harmonious environment, a quality that has been invaluable in team settings. Despite facing numerous challenges and adversities, Roman’s grit and tenacity have always driven him to excel.

    At the age of 15, Roman saved the life of his coach. This act solidified a lifelong bond between them, and Roman has enjoyed Jeff’s steadfast support ever since.

    Roman's experiences with the Javelin Project Gold during high school took him to various countries, including Cuba and Finland. These international stints not only broadened his horizons but also provided him with invaluable connections within the world of athletics.

    Currently, Roman is also pursuing his real estate license and is a family man, deeply committed to his career and family life. His life experiences, connections, and innate leadership qualities are pivotal to the long-term success of our organization.

  • Treasurer: "The Most Interesting Man in the World"

    Mr. Joseph holds the Treasurer position but transcends traditional role expectations, serving as an essential cornerstone of the organization. With an unparalleled business acumen and visionary foresight, Joseph is the brains behind our financial strategies and long-term stability. He is also our first land donor, contributing 10 acres to lay the foundation of our mission. His teachings and mentorship shape not just our fiscal health but our very identity.

    Mr. Joseph is not merely accomplished; he is a multifaceted individual who is, quite literally, the most interesting man in the world. His expansive career began with early experiences as a farmer, where he gained in-depth knowledge of agriculture and heavy machinery operation. His first job at 18 years old was a Yacht mechanic where he rebuilt motors of 40 ft Yachts. He briefly attended college but chose to serve in the U.S. Navy, rising to an E4 rank within a year and leading his unit while graduating at the top of his class.

    In the business world, his impact is hard to overstate. A Licensed Real Estate Broker, he owns Powerhouse Realty and Powerhouse Auto LLC. His other entrepreneurial adventures include former ownership of Eagle Electric and Powerhouse Trucking. Notably, none of his businesses have failed; when he has left an enterprise, it has been purely by choice.

    He is also a licensed electrician, with significant experience working for General Electric and as a nuclear electrician, where he thrived in high-stakes, life-threatening environments. He is a skilled hunter and fisherman, rounding out his wide array of talents and skills.

    He is not just a man of action but also a man of deep family values. A devoted husband and father to three strong sons, he has prioritized raising his children with honor and respect, even when it meant putting aside his own career aspirations. He is the mentor and leader of both our President and Vice President and the initial donor of 10 acres of land, without which our mission would lack a physical foundation.

    His life is a testament to unyielding perseverance, calculated risk-taking, and an unwavering commitment to family and faith.

    Mr. Joseph's fascinating blend of talents and experiences make him an irreplaceable part of our team, and it's clear that his unique life journey is a cornerstone upon which our organization is built.

  • Secretary

    Natalie M. serves as the Secretary of the organization, a multifaceted role that is critical to the communication and operational cohesion among the board, management, and members. Her duties are expansive, covering traditional secretarial tasks such as agenda setting, minute-taking, and notification of meetings. Natalie also oversees the organization's social media management and video documentation, ensuring robust community engagement.

    Beyond these roles, Natalie is responsible for overseeing the purchasing of apparel and spearheading interior design for future building projects. Her expertise and attention to detail ensure that our facilities are not just functional but aesthetically aligned with our organizational mission and brand.

    Her importance to the mission stems not just from her professional abilities but also from her personal history. Natalie is a Hall of Famer at Lenape High School in New Jersey and a former record holder in the 110m hurdles. She excelled in multiple sports including tennis, basketball, track, and field, and notably, javelin. Though financial constraints limited her pursuit of athletics, she channels her unfulfilled potential and enduring passion into the organization. Her dedication to raising her children as athletic warriors mirrors her commitment to every athlete in the program.

    Natalie's early experiences in customer relations and money management at her family's famed New Jersey restaurant, Holmes Lounge, combined with her familial ties to boxing champion Jersey Joe Walcott, have shaped her into an indomitable force within the organization.

    She is a vital cog in the organizational machine, bringing a unique blend of governance acumen, aesthetic sensibility, and athletic prowess. Her role extends far beyond that of a traditional secretary; she serves as an inspirational linchpin who enables us to aim higher in every aspect of our mission.

  • Strategic Marketing Project Leader

    Sophia M. is our Strategic Marketing Project Leader, leveraging her academic background and professional expertise to carve out effective marketing strategies for the organization. She is uniquely positioned to drive our mission forward with her intricate understanding of diverse markets, informed by her fluency in Arabic and international experience.

    As a current top-performing fencer Sophia embodies the type of athletic excellence and global mindset we aim to nurture within the organization. She holds a full scholarship degree in Marketing from UNC Chapel Hill, where she was a college athlete in fencing.

    She is deeply committed to our mission, closely aligned with the core values and the strategic goals of our organization. Her international experience, marketing acumen, and athletic history make her an invaluable asset in creating and executing innovative marketing initiatives.

    Sophia is a seasoned fencer who has traveled extensively across the United States and internationally, competing for Egypt in numerous tournaments.

    She received a full scholarship for fencing to UNC Chapel Hill, where she majored in Marketing. Sophia speaks fluent Arabic and leverages her linguistic skills and cultural insights to enhance our marketing strategies. Married to Roman M., our Vice President, Sophia embodies the blend of athletic dedication and professional expertise that defines our organization's ethos.
